It is said that the plains of the Bitter Reach once bloomed so profusely that on warm days, nectar flowed in rivers along the hollows. Furthermore, the bounty of the mountains was so pure that shards of ore could be used as axe heads without even being forged. All of this, of course, was before the Demon Flood. Ever since the warlock Zygofer let hordes of demons ravage the land, everything lies dead and desolate, save for the twisted nightmares that now roam the plains and forests. Yet, there is likely much wealth to be gained for those who dare to defy their fear.
